About the trial study program for high school students in 2025

We held a hands-on learning program for high school students in 2025. 27 high school students participated and successfully completed the entire program.

9:00: Meeting in Room 226, West Building 5, Kyushu University, Ito Campus
9:05-9:30: Orientation. Brief introduction to the Faculty of Agriculture, Kyushu University (Prof. Iwata)
9:40-10:50: The Important Role of Water for Plants (Prof. Iwata)
11:00-11:50: Current Students Introduction to University Life and Research (Iwata)
11:50-12:40: Lunch and Discussion - Ask professors and current students questions about university life and research!
12:50-14:10: Improving soil strength using waste (Prof. Kanayama)
14:20-16:40: Hands-on learning about information and communication technology and robotics in agriculture (Prof. Okayasu & Asoc. Prof. Mitsuoka)
16:50-17:00: Closing Ceremony
